About Yumi
Yumi is an international educator and artist with teaching experience in both the UK , Hong Kong and Taiwan. She founded Yumi Creative Studio to integrate language education with artistic practice and cross-cultural exchange.
Her work bridges communication, creativity, and cultural storytelling.
Language learning should be active, creative, and confidence-driven. By combining structured methods with artistic exploration, students develop both communication skills and independent thinking.
I believe every child has a unique rhythm of learning.

My Vision我的願景
I worked as an Art Teacher in the United Kingdom, guiding students to express ideas through creativity and critical thinking.
In Taiwan, I have led English Summer Camp programs for junior high school students, focusing on interactive communication rather than memorization.
My teaching philosophy is simple:
Language should be lived, not drilled.
Creativity builds confidence.
Confidence builds voice.
曾在英國擔任藝術教師，引導學生透過創作培養思考能力與自我表達。
在台灣，帶領國中英語夏令營課程的英文老師，強調互動與溝通，而非填鴨式背誦。
我的教學理念是：
語言應該活在生活裡，而不是只存在於課本中。
創造力建立自信，自信成就表達。
Beyond the classroom, I am an exhibiting artist who has participated in art exhibitions in the UK.
I am also an independent Amazon eBook author and a traveler — often accompanied by my 16-year-old dog, who has journeyed through different cities and landscapes with me.
Travel and art continuously shape my teaching style — open-minded, expressive, and culturally aware
